It can be confusing but even oily/acne prone skin needs hydration, sunscreen and exfoliation. With the winter cold and forced dry indoor heat your skin can become a tight, flaky, broken out mess if not cared for properly. Treat your dehydrated skin to a hydrating masque from Dermalogica- we suggest these products after exfoliation:
Skin Hydrating Masque for all skin conditions,
Intensive Moisture Masque for very dry skins , and
Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque for dry, sun damaged and aging skin (also great for acne since it contains anti inflammatory ingredients.) All skins benefit from Skin Hydrating Booster which can be added to a moisturizer.
Don't forget to drink a lot of water! at least eight 8 oz glasses- add more if you drink coffee, alcohol, or are pregnant.
I had to drink a gallon a day when pregnant last summer!
Suggested facials for oily, acneic skins-
Enzyme Peel by Dermalogica with purifying blend of essential oils,
Glycolic Acid Peel by Skinceuticals, or
Microdermabrasion-all our facial treatments are followed by Dermalogica's Clinical Colloidal Oatmeal Masque or Contour Masque.
